Colin Mills

Founder and Executive Chairman

Colin founded The FD Centre, later rebranded as The CFO Centre, in 2001 and is now Chairman of The Liberti Group. With over two decades of leadership experience, he has served as FD and CEO across diverse industries, including construction, FMCG, retail, IT, and property. A CIMA member and Henley MBA graduate, Colin established the first-ever fractional finance director service, now a global model, bringing large-business standards to SMEs through flexible, senior-level financial leadership.

Sara Daw

Group CEO

Sara is Group CEO of The CFO Centre and The Liberti Group, having joined as a CFO in 2005. She’s one of the pioneers of fractional and part-time executive leadership, helping thousands of C-suite professionals build portfolio careers in the access economy. Sara is the author of Strategy and Leadership as Service, and Executive Freedom, and holds an MBA from London Business School. She’s also a Chartered Accountant and an Oxford Chemistry graduate. She brings commercial insight, academic rigour, and a transformational mindset to her leadership of The CFO Centre.

Julie Mills

Director

Julie co-founded The CFO Centre alongside Colin Mills in 2001, playing a vital role in shaping the early foundations of the business. While Colin focused on client delivery, Julie managed everything else, from operations to finance, often from the family dining table. As the business grew, she became the heart of the company culture, supporting the team and keeping everything running smoothly from their home base at Badgers Brook. She remains a major shareholder and is actively involved in key investment decisions, continuing to contribute to the business’s growth and legacy. Julie is also a proud mum to four sons—each playing a part in the next generation of the company’s journey.

Nev Durrant

Group CFO

Nev is a commercially minded Chartered Accountant with a breadth of experience across aerospace, food, technology, and business process outsourcing. Before joining The CFO Centre, he served as CFO and Deputy CEO of a not-for-profit technology organisation, supporting clients from small charities to central government departments in over 50 countries. Nev qualified with Coopers & Lybrand and holds a BA in Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Jamie Mills

UK & Ireland CEO

Jamie began his career as a trained engineer before founding a luxury bespoke bathroom installation business in 2004, serving high-net-worth clients. While closely connected to The CFO Centre since its launch in 2001, he formally joined the business in 2015. Since then, he has worked across marketing, operations, and commercial leadership. Jamie was appointed CEO in January 2020, guiding the business through its next phase of growth and innovation.

Joseph Mills

UK & Ireland COO

Joseph has been closely connected to The CFO Centre since its founding in 2001. He officially joined the business in 2022, bringing with him a unique background in professional football, where he developed strong leadership and communication skills captaining clubs in the latter stages of his playing career. Having worked with the business over many summers, Joseph brings deep-rooted passion and insight to his role as Chief Operating Officer, supporting its continued growth with energy and focus.

Matthew Mills

UK & Ireland CRO

Matthew is Chief Revenue Officer at The CFO Centre, appointed in 2021 following a successful tenure as Regional Director for the North West. Having been closely connected to the business since its inception, founded by his father in 2001, Matthew brings a deep understanding of the company’s values and client-first ethos. Prior to joining the business, he enjoyed a long and successful career in professional football, from the Premier League to League Two, and occasionally appears as a football pundit on Sky Sports.

Andy Collier

UK and Ireland Head of CFO Development

Andy built his career as a Divisional Finance Director for two major groups, developing a passion for problem-solving and uncovering hidden profit. He successfully transitioned to a portfolio career long before the model became mainstream, quickly establishing the Northern region as one of The CFO Centre’s most successful. As Joint Managing Director, Andy played a key role in shaping the business and supporting Jamie Mills on his path to CEO.

Chris Holliday

UK & Ireland CCO

Chris is Co-Chief Commercial Officer at The CFO Centre, leading the Regional Director team across the UK and Ireland. He joined the business in 2021, initially overseeing the Manchester region following a successful career in national and regional management roles. Since joining, Chris has been a key driver of client experience, supporting both the CFOs delivering our service and the business owners they work alongside.

Paul Cooper

Divisional Director for Midlands & South West

Paul is Divisional Director at The CFO Centre, having first joined the leadership team in January 2019 as UK & Ireland Operations Director. He later served as Regional Director, where he played a key role in team growth and delivering sustained client expansion over a two-and-a-half-year period. In 2024, Paul stepped into the Divisional Director role. Prior to joining The CFO Centre, Paul built a successful 17-year career with HSBC, holding senior leadership roles across banking and wealth management, with a focus on market growth, client experience, and large-scale organisational change.

Ryan Oates

Divisional Director for the South East

Ryan is Divisional Director for the South East, bringing over 20 years of experience in sales and operations across both B2B and B2C environments. With a strong background in business development and client relationship management, Ryan previously served as UK Sales Director for Virgin Active, combining his commercial expertise with a passion for sport. Since joining The CFO Centre in April 2021 as Regional Director for East of England South, he has played a key role in driving growth and team development across the region.

Hayley Reeve

UK & Ireland Head of Finance

As UK & Ireland Head of Finance, Hayley works closely with the UK Leadership Team and Group to provide financial insight and counsel that supports growth and strategic delivery. She is a qualified accountant with a passion for both numbers and people and brings energy, clarity, and a collaborative mindset to her role. Outside of work, Hayley is a qualified fitness instructor and a proud mum to twin boys and a stepson, often found pitch-side at football, rugby, hockey, or cricket.

Vicky Wojciak

UK & Ireland Head of Marketing

Head of Marketing for UK & Ireland, Vicky brings over 20 years of marketing experience across product strategy, communications, CRM, consumer insights, and commercial planning. She has worked across a wide range of industries and brings both depth and versatility to her role. Since joining, Vicky leads UK & Ireland marketing with passion, energy, and a clear focus on impact.

Amy Adams

UK & Ireland Head of Talent

Amy is Head of Talent at The CFO Centre, with over 15 years’ experience building resource capability in start-up and scale-up environments across nuclear, engineering, professional, and financial services. Since joining in 2021, she has focused on strengthening the quality and growth of our CFO community across the UK & Ireland. Amy leads the Talent team, overseeing resourcing, onboarding, learning and development, and the overall CFO experience.

Becky Smith

Commercial Assistant to the CEO

Becky is a meticulous and driven professional with a strong focus on delivery and detail. Since joining The CFO Centre in 2013, her energy and commitment have seen her grow from Group Marketing Manager to her current role as Commercial Assistant to the CEO. Becky plays a key role in supporting strategic projects across the business. Outside of work, she enjoys sport, socialising, travel, and family time.

Andy Martin

Having nearly 2 decades of experience in finance and retail I've held various senior positions across both sectors with a proven track record of driving business growth through opportunity generation and enhancing process efficiencies. I have a wealth of experience in scaling businesses, strategic planning and partnerships, customer experience and team leadership, driving growth and success.
