I am a commercially focussed CFO, with a track record of driving performance, growth, and profitability. With 30 years of broad experience in organisations ranging from revenues of £2m to £800m, I have deep experience across all finance operations. I bring a strong background in working with boards and leadership teams, and as a bonus I have led Legal, IT, HR, Procurement and Marketing functions.

Track record highlights

  • Taken over as CFO at two companies (revenue £7m and £30m) who were making losses and had bank overdrafts, and turned both into profitable and cash generative businesses.
  • Led and directed capital building (including several site relocations) and IT systems projects with values in excess of £75m.
  • Played an integral role in the Management Buy Out of a £3m consultancy business from its majority shareholder, including all of the legal, financial and negotiated elements of the deal.
  • I have redesigned management information, including KPIs and Dashboards, for a number of companies, so as to ensure the Board and Leadership Team have the tangible and visible information they need.
  • I have worked as a board advisor to a handful of companies, and currently hold a Non-Executive Director role at Kaplan Financial, giving me current experience of working with Boards.
