I have over 25 years’ in finance, working as adviser in Private Equity (for both a Big 4 firm and a CF Boutique), and as a CFO in an executive, non-executive and consulting capacity. I am used to understanding business drivers quickly in a variety of industry sectors, to help management teams get clarity on their vision, and devise strategy to get there; whilst managing inevitable growing pains.

Track record highlights

  • 15+ years working closely with dozens of management teams on strategy development, business planning, financial projections; and project managing deals/fundraising rounds.
  • Advised on raising a total in excess of £400m on multiple deals in practice.
  • Completed all financial modelling and assisted in VDD for secondary buy-out of a media company, raising £70m of equity and £44m of debt.
  • Worked closely with the management team of a SAAS business to rationalise; preserving VC funding whilst we revised the strategy that ultimately brought them back to profitability and growth.
  • Identified the failing part of a transport business in the Non-Profit sector, and worked with management & stakeholders to engineer a 'soft landing' into Administration; and sale to National Express.
