  • Led organisational transformation to embed a secure platform from which to exploit future growth opportunities, achieving a turnaround of 12% pre-tax losses to 5% pre-tax profit in 1-year.
  • Led acquisition of 2 companies to fill skills gaps and exploit distribution network opportunities, achieving delivery turnaround time reduction from 16 days to 5 with annual overhead savings costs of circa £1.5m.
  • Led the acquisition of a key supplier to secure the future of a trading division, using that as the platform to further grow and develop the division in a high margin, high growth niche market which significantly increased the company’s enterprise value.
  • Led systems transformation to improve accuracy / efficiency and reduce back-office costs, delivering fully integrated systems with vastly improved accuracy, efficiency, visibility, and controls.
  • Introduced robust credit control framework to stabilise company’s cash position and allow investment to secure future long-term business, reducing aged debtors from over £2.2m to under £1m.
