My skill set is broad and deep and whilst able to manage the day to day of transactional finance I am equally adept at longer term strategic planning. In addition I have managed commercial, HR & IT functions.

Track record highlights

  • Completed the commercial and operational integration of a competitor brand following a €5m acquisition. This involved a TUPE process in excess of 70 staff and re-negotiating customer terms for two of the top 4 UK Grocery Multiples.
  • Prepared a £30m turnover owner managed import business for shareholder exit. Lead the preparation of the information memorandum including historic and forecast financial metrics, business history and market analysis. Completed the legal due diligence in conjunction with the sell side legal partners.
  • Developed and implemented commercial reporting systems that re-focused the business’ commercial strategy after gaining significant new insight into customer and channel profitability. This helped the business increase profitability by over 60%.
  • Following the loss of a food manufacturers number 1 customer, refocused and executed the commercial strategy to build a broader and more resilient customer base that allowed the business to maintain its brand leader position.
  • Lead a successful, on time and in budget, business wide ERP system implementation following a £1.5m investment. The system delivered end-to-end functionality with complete financials integration.
