  • Built a finance team and back office function to support a privately owned transport & logistics business to grow from £18M turnover to £140M in 6 years through organic and acquisition based growth.
  • Managed the Due Diligence and facilitated the sale of a privately owned healthcare / sports business compromising 36 legal entities to a top 100 US owned business.
  • Outsourced a significant amount of transactional finance functions across Europe to a external 3rd party financial services provider, resulting in annual savings of £15M.
  • Implemented a corporate restructure in a SME to create internal value and put a structure in place that was suitable for future growth.
  • Managed the Northern European finance function for a US owned top 10 ($60bn) annual turnover business through a period of significant change.
  • Implemented industry leading Board Reports and MI Packs in multiple roles. With month end reporting timeframes cut to 2 days.
  • Managed cashflow in a loss making privately owned business to allow the company to keep trading until an acquisition was completed.
