- Steered an entire procedure of integrating a 26-hotel group into one unified ledger which amalgamated all existing finance, administrative and central processes, leading to greater efficiencies.
- Refinanced and consolidated an AIM-quoted company group’s debt through a careful infrastructure review, generating annual financing costs reductions and cash generation for further growth.
- Spearheaded a solid 10-year business plan involving discrete fundraising projects within the start-up hospitality sector, and provided support for initial fundraising rounds.
- Championed the European distribution strategy for an international hotel group with the aim of long-term growth; ultimately driving a board-approved brand blueprint for growth.
- Pivotal role in developing European cash management processes and cash & currency flow forecasting models. This resulted in a pan-European direct debit collection process, leading to margin savings.
- Exercised due diligence and contract execution to complete the simultaneous purchase/sale of three London hotel properties with the total value of £355M with two different counterparties.
- Effectively completed the acquisition of two hotel portfolios (9 and 26 hotels respectively) with a combined asset total of £475M.
