Track record highlights

  • Worked with founders to launch an innovative home ownership product, Gradual Home Ownership.
  • Leading role in closing significant funding rounds (£20m raised to date) and agreeing funding and shareholders agreements with a number of venture capital investors into fintech startup.
  • Played a leading role in sale of insurance company, including staff management, due diligence preparation, significant interaction with advisors, prospective corporate and private equity bidders and the eventual acquirer during due diligence, negotiation and pre and post closing phases of the transaction.
  • Established and developed the finance and compliance teams including accounting processes and monthly reporting controls, implemented management and Board level financial reporting, investor reporting, robust processes and controls, indirect and corporate tax procedures, and planning strategies for fintech startup.
  • Acted as principal in negotiating the disposal of shareholding in 4 PFI investments which were sold to a specialist infrastructure fund provider generating an IRR of over 11% (after costs).
