Covering London and Kent, I have worked in transport, retail, wholesale, restaurants, and logistics, but it is in Construction that I have spent most of my time. Predominantly for SME sub-contractors, ranging from demolition to drylining, with turnovers from £5-85m. I thrive where the leaders of the business are driven by success, and require the strategic thinking of an experienced CFO.

I am a strategic CFO with over 25 years experience across private equity, real estate and corporate finance. Covering businesses ranging from start-up, scale-up to IPO and PE exit. I have a proven track record of building and mentoring finance teams, securing funding, M&A, tax structuring, improving EBITDA and business cashflows, business turnaround and implementing new systems.

I am a CIMA qualified result driven, forward looking, “can make it happen,” group CFO with extensive experience across UK, US, LATAM, MENA and Asia having raised finance multiple times and managed investor relationships. I am a board level entrepreneurial executive able to connect Strategy with People-Processes-Technology to improve profitability, productivity, governance and top line growth and experienced in managing IT, Legal & Contracts and People & Talent functions.

I am an entrepreneurial finance leader with experience across the media, creative and technology sectors. My career focus has been to deliver a finance function that delivers valuable insight to the business and to leverage that information, aligned with a strategic mindset, to drive the profitability and value of the business. I have led businesses through exits leading to favourable outcomes.

I am an experienced hands-on Finance and Operations Director with a strong track record of leading disruptive growth and transformational change in entrepreneurially driven companies at the forefront of technology and innovation. Currently supporting the expansion of multiple SME’s and early stage businesses by professionalising their operations, developing detailed financial models and successfully completing several fund raising activities and exits. Previously CFO of international operations over a period of 25+ years at US listed Apple, McGraw-Hill and DST managing teams across UK, Europe and AsiaPac.

I have specific expertise in the leisure, restaurant, conference and hospitality sectors. Analysis and prioritisation of key issues, identification of stakeholder, public and private require relationship with people at all levels.

Prior to joining The CFO Centre I held several senior positions within large corporates, specialising in bringing sense and order to complex business models, and delivered impressive positive outcomes. I excel at working with entrepreneurs to improve processes, reporting, and cash-flow, and deliver profit improvement.
