I have extensive CFO experience working in the SME market across a broad range of industries. I focus on the business owner and the objectives they have for their business and themselves. I have owned, managed and sold my own business and I understand the challenges that business owners face. My 30 year experience was gained in practice and the commercial world and includes working with pre-revenue start-ups to established business with turnover up to £50M. I have led businesses through exits (trade sales) and acquisitions aligned to the objectives of the business.

  • Outsourced CFO for family van hire business on South coat that grew from £5M to £15M in 6 years.
  • Part of team that acquired entities in 4 different territories and integrated systems, over 36 month period.
  • Developed financial strategy and forecast for a solar PV business, securing funding for the medium term, that lead to an exit to a PE house.
  • Prepared 3-year business plans for a prop-tech business (with subsidiaries in 3 other territories) using MS Excel for P&L, Balance Sheets and Cashflows.
  • Instrumental in the £5M exit sale of an IT services business to PE house overseeing the DD (due diligence process) and execution of the deal.
