  • Three times CFO for businesses owned by Blackstone Private Equity is evidence of my commercial focus and ability to deliver.
  • Restructured a Group in preparation for sale involving the formation of new companies, transfer of trading assets and employee contracts and the agreement of lenders etc to save £120 million tax.
  • Delivered a cultural change to balance the focus of a business on driving revenue as much as it had done on controlling cost and margins. This helped grow EBITDA by 50% in 3 years.
  • Transformed an IT department from a peripheral player to a key component in delivering significant growth in shareholder value as well as a greatly improved guest experience.
  • Resolved an extraordinarily complex, multi-faceted and unprecedented second HMRC "Code-9" investigation.
