I have more than 20 years’ experience as CFO.  Have had exposure to both private and public sectors. My experience has been gained in a range of industries; agriculture, education, manufacturing and financial services. Was also appointed as a Non-Executive Director to a number of boards and audit committees before joining The CFO Centre.

Track record highlights

  • Acted as both Principal Officer and Trustee of major pension funds and served on Audit & Risk Committee of the National Tertiary Retirement Fund.
  • Managed investments of pensions funds, provided guidance through periods of change and reform in the retirement fund landscape. Accepted responsibility for all statutory duties as set out in the Pension Funds Act and supporting regulations.
  • Played a pivotal role as strategic partner of the executive. Identified and pursued value opportunities to enhance sustainable development, stability and financial performance.
  • Added value to corporate governance and revenue growth through developing and implementing new policies and procedures as well as innovative business and financial strategies.
  • Negotiated to secure funding, property, leases, and finance through concluding skilled negotiations including securing a cost saving of R20 M through renegotiations with European companies.
  • Implemented legislation affecting companies and finance using my in-depth knowledge.
  • Held a senior leadership role in managing senior directors and large groups of staff as well as diversity in the workplace.
