Our dynamic manufacturing client, with a large African footprint, based in Johannesburg is looking for an experienced Tax Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Group Tax:  management and minimisation of tax risk
  • Submission/e-filing of all relevant income tax, provisional tax and VAT returns.
  • Consolidation of business units tax returns.
  • Facilitate the tax query resolution between business units and local tax authorities.
  • Review and facilitate the referral of complex tax issues to specialists.
  • Engage with Auditors during reviews and ensure all report items are adequately addressed.
  • Pay all taxes (Income, VAT and Withholding)
  • African tax queries and submissions.

Qualifications:

  • B com in Tax with M Comm or H Dip Tax

 Key Skills:

  • Tax management experience in the Private Sector as well as direct and indirect taxes.
  • Good understanding of Pillar 2 and OECD guidelines
  • African tax experience
  • Transfer pricing
