Robert Buisman

Speakers: Robert Buisman, CEO, NOMOBO
What would you like to say to your CFO?
Robert Buisman: Stef, thank you very much! You have helped us since 2020, without you, we wouldn’t be where we are now. So thank you for that!
What one or two big issues/untapped opportunities were you facing before you started working with us?
Robert Buisman: Before we started with the CFO Centre, we actually didn’t have a steady financial drumbeat, little control, and all financial responsibility was solely on me.
What have been the benefits to the business specifically?
Robert Buisman: The biggest advantage for NOMOBO has been that with the help of the CFO Centre, we were able to achieve a partial sale to an American party. They are now our partner in the business. As a result, we are growing again, especially in America. Without Stef and the CFO Centre, we would not have been able to accomplish this.
What have been the benefits to you personally?
Robert Buisman: Before we started working together, the financial pressure was on me. Because the collaboration took such a good form, I was able to take some distance from the detailed financial figures. This allowed me to keep an eye on the big picture, and it gave me more peace of mind and balance in my work.
What is The Number That Really Matters to you?
Robert Buisman: The number that really matters to me today is: 1.06375, because that is the dollar exchange rate. And NOMOBO has the majority of its business in America. So we are highly dependent on the dollar exchange rate for our profit margin.
