I have spent the last twenty years of my career listening to and helping business owners grow their businesses. Prior to joining the FD Centre, I worked with the FD Centre from the outside, so knew FDC well before joining. Having seen first hand the extraordinary difference that a good FD can make, and having run my own business without one, I can vouch for the success of working with us.

I am an experienced Commercially focussed Finance Director with a broad range of experience of skills developed through working with leading retail and manufacturing businesses. Persistent and determined, I see the job through and use in-depth commercial knowledge at both strategic and operational levels to deliver excellent results. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant and then moved into the oil and gas industry gaining significant international and operational exposure including overseas-based positions. Latterly I was FD of an Aim-listed company before joining the FD Centre in 2016. I now work with start-ups to £7million T/O companies, ranging from technology to retail, assisting exceptional business owners.

I have spent 20 years on executive management teams delivering transformational change in public, PE-backed and third sector companies – my personal remit extending to HR, IT, Property & Legal functions. In these 20 years, there are few challenges faced by SMEs that I have not dealt with and resolved to the satisfaction of the relevant stakeholders.
