I have spent the last twenty years of my career listening to and helping business owners grow their businesses. Prior to joining The CFO Centre, I worked with The CFO Centre from the outside, so knew CFOC well before joining. Having seen first hand the extraordinary difference that a good FD can make, and having run my own business without one, I can vouch for the success of working with us.

Since qualifying in 1985 I have worked both nationally and internationally in significant private and listed businesses, latterly as FD of an AiM listed energy company. I am a listener, a decent communicator and a do-er, and comfortable contributing across the whole business from cash books through processes to strategy. My purpose is to help exceptional business owners achieve their goals.

I have extensive CFO experience in a range of businesses from multi-national PLCs to PE backed start-ups across a range of sectors. I have supported growth strategies and business turnarounds and prepared businesses for exit. I ensure that Finance supports the achievement of business objectives through the development financial solutions appropriate to the size and complexity of the organisation.

Highly motivated and commercially astute FD with over 20 years experience working for both multi-national corporates and fast growing SME businesses. I am passionate about making a difference to those I work with, coaching and challenging the business owners to work on the business rather than in the business. I am a commercially focused Finance Director helping ambitious business reach their full value potential, plan for a successful future and overcome barriers to growth. I have extensive blue chip experience in FMCG and retail for Cadbury Schweppes, AB InBev, Whitbread, Premier Foods and Kingfisher.

I have spent 20 years on executive management teams delivering transformational change in public, PE-backed and third sector companies – my personal remit extending to HR, IT, Property & Legal functions. In these 20 years, there are few challenges faced by SMEs that I have not dealt with and resolved to the satisfaction of the relevant stakeholders.
