Niswey Suma E P
Speaker: Suma E P, CEO, NisweyPlease introduce yourself and your CFO.Suma E P: Hi, my name is Suma. I am the CEO of Niswey. We started working with the CFO centre about 10 months ago, while we have an accounting team which is headed by a CA, we also have an outsource CA and audit firm who have been working with us since we set up the company. All of this works really well for us. However, there was a gap, the gap we needed to bridge was making sense of accounting in business language, and the accounts team understanding what the business needs to know or have visibility into. The CFO Centre came and bridge that gap very nicely. Shankar who acts as our fractional CFO from the CFO Centre. He works with our finance and accounting team, both in house and outsource to get the numbers that the business team would like to see. He works with the co-founders to understand what the business needs now and next and starts work on these things. There are no tasks that are off limits here. I can take to him challenges related to say, tricky service agreements or just having multiple sessions to really understand how ESOPs work, what we now have is a person with a lot of experience to guide us with our business challenges from cash flows to investments, from launching ESOPs to running budgets, to solving GST refund issues, to tricky negotiations. I think this is invaluable support for a small company like ours. I think it is the right investment to a healthier company. What is one thing you can do MORE of since signing up with The CFO Centre?Suma E P: I think we can focus more on the business, on the revenue side, on the profit side, we now have the right dashboards to look at where we could be losing money or where we are, you know, falling behind with our numbers or things like that. And so we can focus more on the revenue and the profit side. What is one thing you can do LESS of since signing up with The CFO Centre?Suma E P: I think I can do less of worrying now because I know there is another pair of eyes looking at the numbers at the broad picture and who will, raise an alarm or an alert or give us the right advice when we are kind of stuck, many things. So I think I would just not worry about, you know, who should I ask? Who should I ask? I now have a person to ask.
