I joined CFO Centre in 2016 to launch its East China business in Shanghai, and have worked with more than 25 entrepreneur-driven growth-stage companies in industries including manufacturing, environmental technology/services, software, engineering services, supply chain & logistics, e-commerce, traditional/digital media, data analytics, education, start-up incubation/accelerator, real estate and family investment offices. During 2011-14, I was CFO of Bleum Incorporated, a 1000-person software development provider based in Shanghai, where I led continuous operational improvements in a dynamic global market for offshore IT services. During 2008-11, I was SVP & Head of Corporate Development for iSoftStone Holdings in Beijing, whose U.S. IPO I led in 2010, along with numerous acquisitions and strategic client engagements. Prior to 2008 I was an investment banker for nearly a decade with UBS in New York and JPMorgan in Hong Kong and San Francisco.
I have been a senior finance executive with 30+ years U.S. Fortune 100 corporation CFO working experience in 7 countries mainly in Greater China, U.S.A., and ANZ.
During the 30+ years CFO tenure, I worked for the world No. 1 commercial air conditioner company Carrier Air Conditioning Company, and the world No. 1 IT distribution company Ingram Micro. I have rich financial operation, M&A and joint ventures acquisitions, credit and internal control, working capital, tax & treasury management working experience in world class manufacturing, distribution, service and supply chain logistic and supply chain financial services, as well as company’s digitalization transformation.
I obtained my MIM (Master of International Management) from Thunderbird (American Graduation School of Int’l Mgmt) and am a fellow member of CIMA (the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and a CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant).
