The problem

We are a premium packaging manufacturer with a 40-year history. We have a growth plan to expand into new geographical markets as well as to acquire new clients. But the availability of funding has always been an issue as our business has always been working capital heavy. So we want to have a high-caliber FD/CFO to help us to raise funds but it turns out that Edmand brings in more in the way of support than just our funding needs.

The solution

Edmand is responsive and has provided new insights to us not only on how to manage the bank accounts but a holistic and forward-looking view on the company’s financial performance. This has led to increased awareness and improvement on key performance indicators such as profitability ratios, working capital days to name a few. Edmand also actively supports us to establish additional banking relationships to provide additional sources of funds with less collateral to support further growth.
The numbers that realy matter 6%

Numbers matter. But not just profit and balance sheet numbers. We asked Francis what is the number that really matters to him?

Profitability improved by 6 percent during the period from Apr 2019 to Mar 2021.

A 'thank you' to my CFO

"I wish I would have engaged The FD & CFO Centre earlier as the support from Edmand is invaluable." Francis Leung
