Andrew has 30 years’ experience in the corporate finance world, first in large multi-nationals and the last 25 years working in smaller start-ups as a fractional CFO. He is well versed in interacting with venture capitalists and traditional bankers and has multiple fundraises, in excess of $20m, of both equity and debt financing, buy and sell side due diligence, assisting companies with international expansion and working with sales teams to drive revenue growth.
Andrew believes in leading by example and has implemented financial systems and KPI reporting, developed GAAP compliant accounting processes and procedures for the monthly close, conducted 409(a) valuations and successfully passed more than a dozen audits, both US GAAP as well as US Govt grant audits. He strongly believes with the right “scaffolding” frees up senior execs to focus on more valued added initiatives.
He has successfully sold 2 companies at premium valuations and is extremely knowledgeable about positioning companies for sale/investment, preparing pitch decks and presenting to Boards.
