What one or two big issues/untapped opportunities were you facing before we started working with you?

Pravin Kakode: Interesting thing which we learned particularly is about the COGS – the way we have to look at it and also look at how to structure the revenues as well as the costs, which give a perspective of business.

What have been the benefits the business specifically?

Pravin Kakode: I deal with the activity of putting a – AOP in place. I think this activity as it matures over a period of time will pay really rich dividends.

What have the benefits been to you personally?

Pravin Kakode: My biggest takeaway of learning from Rajangam sir has been how to be very firm yet polite. I mean, he is very clear in terms of how one needs to approach certain topics. And that clarity brings a lot of perspective.

What would you say to others considering taking on a part-time CFO?

Pravin Kakode: I think for a MSME which is aspiring to grow, uh getting an outsider view or a CFO view on how to structure it will definitely give fresh perspective and also help identify blind spots. So I think it’s an exercise worth doing.
