What’s the opportunity?

Are you a top quality Chief Financial Officer (CFO) frustrated with the confines of corporate life and looking for something different, or an independent CFO who’s made the break from corporate life, or a CFO parent who wants more flexibility and work life balance, then read on, this might be for you.

You’ll be responsible for providing part time CFO services to ambitious entrepreneurs and their businesses.

You’ll help our clients reach their goals, you’ll be a self-starter with ambition, energy, and a ‘can do’ attitude, who has a passion to help clients, typically entrepreneurs and CEOs.

You’ll thrive on the challenge and autonomy of growing your own portfolio of clients, supported by an incredible network of CFOs across the globe. We have big dreams, and we expect you to have the same.

What do you need to have?

You need to be qualified from one of the major chartered accountancy institutes and have been a real-life CFO once, twice or several times over, with strong experience and understanding of commercial finance, business strategy, and a track record of success, with a natural ability to build genuine long-lasting relationships with our clients. Part CFO, part advisor, part strategist, part friend. Your clients will say “this person and The CFO Centre are in it with me for the long-term, and I know they really care”.

Working closely with your Regional Director and Team of CFOs in a collegiate environment. We pride ourselves on being a great place to work, with family values at our core, as is often found in our own client’s operations.

How does it work?

The role is self-employed, whilst operating within a defined model, combining the benefits of being part of a team and supported by a well-established organisation, but with a level of autonomy and freedom in how you deliver outcomes for clients.

You’ll love the challenge, variety and interest of working for multiple clients and appreciate the flexibility this way of working provides. A great listener, and even better at asking great questions, at first you’ll wake up every day and think “how do I build my portfolio today” and then as your portfolio grows, think “how do I add value and do something special for my clients today?”
