In a career characterised by collaborative business partnering in both technical and commercial senior finance roles, I have experience across a variety of industries with some of the biggest global brands, including Unilever, Amazon and the ‘finger-lickin’ good’ KFC. Having identified that my passion lay with small businesses and working directly with owners, I joined The CFO Centre in 2020. - Secured multi-million pound cashflow funding for partners when an internal logistics failure closed stores. Resolved related complex debt position with third party and distribution of compensations.
- Uncovered multi-million pound fraud through rigorous data analysis and leadership of cross-functional investigation team. Secured funding for and on-boarded Project Manager to support resolution.
- Generated cost-base savings due to rigorous review and categorisation of £250m cost base. Used increased transparency to improve profitability via new pricing strategies and better resource allocation.
- Drove significant restructure of marketing spend (savings & re-direction of funds) whilst increasing sales through customer segmentation, marketing efficiency and customer lifetime value modelling.
