  • Strategic Planning: Recently led a ten-year 10X strategic plan for a large real estate development and construction company, involving market and geographic expansion, supported by financial and personnel projections over a multi-year period
  • Financial reporting and business modelling: a decade of experience preparing quarterly/annual MD&A and public company reporting requirements along with the implementation of sophisticated multi-year business budgeting/forecasting models with KPI outputs
  • Capital and debt markets: successful launch/capital raise for ~$75MM Private Equity Fund, negotiation of mid-large syndicated credit facilities ($150 million to $500 million), issuance of $US450 million high yield publicly-traded bonds, led multiple TSX equity offerings ($80-$100 million), negotiation of Mezzanine debt, Convertible Debentures Issuance ($30 million to $350 million) and interest rate/FX swaps.
  • Strong M&A experience (buy & sell side): executive leadership in approx. 20 acquisitions since 2000 (private & public companies). Also led sale side business exits, including preparation of Teaser, Slide Deck, Confidential Info Memorandums, Quality of Earnings, LOI and PSA negotiation.
  • Real estate development: provided financial leadership over two Kelowna game-changing development projects from pro-forma, equity raise through to construction financing of a $350 million, 3-tower condo resort development with boat club & indoor boat storage facilities, as well as a $200 million multi-use development of a 17-storey class A office tower and 34 story concrete residential high rise.
